Cosmetic Teeth Whitening
Zooming White Teeth!
Georgian Dental offers Phillips Zoom Whitespeed®, which is a clinically proven procedure that can whiten your teeth up to 6-8 shades. Zoom teeth whitening uses a combination of peroxide and the special blue light developed by Phillips, to provide quick, painless and extremely effective teeth whitening.
From start to finish the procedure takes about 2 hours. We get started with protecting your lips and gums, followed by the applying the peroxide solution, which is then activated by the Zoom light. This process is repeated up to 3 times for a total of approximately 45 minutes. The procedure breaks up stains and discolouration leaving you with Zooming white teeth.
Note that there may be some scenarios where we aren’t able to provide this service, such as patients who are experiencing extreme tooth sensitivity, or moderate to severe gum recession as the treatments are likely to aggravate these conditions. We’ll assess your specific situation when you come in for your appointment, or we can book a separate consult to better assess your teeth and gums (extra cost applies).

Phillips Zoom Teeth Whitening
Zoom in-office tooth whitening is a procedure designed to lighten the color of your teeth using a combination of a hydrogen peroxide gel and a specially designed visible LED light lamp. During the procedure, the whitening gel will be applied to the teeth and exposed to the Zoom lamp for four (4) 15 minute sessions.
During the entire treatment, a plastic retractor will be placed in the mouth to keep it open and the soft tissues of my mouth (i.e., lips, gums, cheeks & tongue), will be covered to ensure they aren’t exposed to the gel or light. A visible LED light filter is provided for your eyes. After the treatment is completed, the shade of your upper-front teeth will be assessed and recorded to show the improvement.

LifeWhite® Whitening Program
One of your best options for professional level teeth whitening is enrolling in our LifeWhite® teeth whitening program. This is a long term whitening program that provides clinical results from the comfort of your home.
With the LifeWhite program we create custom trays using dental impressions of your teeth in the clinic, and then provide you with the required syringes of whitening compound, along with detailed instructions on how to complete your whitening treatments. Then when you come in for your professional cleaning every 6 months we provide you with a free tube of the whitening compound so you can freshen up your pearly whites.
