It all started in a turn of the century home in Orillia over 40 years ago before we grew into our second location in the great city of Barrie. Georgian Dental was also known as Georgian Family Dental Center and was located close to the Royal Victoria Hospital off Duckworth, before moving to our current location on Bayfield Street.
The present location at 149 Bayfield Street, Barrie, Ontario is a building of unique historical interest. Recognized by the Tourism Board of Ontario and The Barrie Historical Society as one of the best and rare examples of Late Edwardian Architecture. The building that we’re located in is also known as “The Grand Old Lady Of Barrie” stands overlooking Kempenfelt Bay and was the original home to the first mayor of Barrie. The building is featured on The City of Barrie and Tourism Ontario, Grand Homes Tour which you can download as a free self-guided walking tour here! Legend has it that member of the “Rat Pack” including Frank Sinatra visited the building during the years of prohibition.
