What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment method that straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible aligners custom-made specifically for you using 3D imaging technology.

As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will gradually move towards the projected final position.

How Does Invisalign Work?

Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks. They are removed only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Each new aligner encourages the teeth to gradually move towards their final destinations, a little bit at a time. You’ll visit us about once every six weeks for a checkup to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.

For most patients, the total treatment time lasts 9 to 15 months, and the number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30 aligners. Of course, both numbers will vary from case to case.

Georgian Dental® offers the added benefit of shortening the duration of your treatment by using soft pulse ultrasonic and low-level laser therapy. All Invisalign cases are 3D scanned for the ultimate in precision. We utilize a holistic approach to orthodontic therapy, which we’ve observed to increase the speed of treatment.
