Our Professional Patient Advocates are deidcated to help you with insurance claims and paperwork submission to ensure that you will get your insurance reimbursement as fast as possible. Payment is due at the time of treatment unless prior arrangements have been made. We have Patient Advocates on staff who are dedicated to help you understand your insurance plan and policies as well as to help ensure that your experience is as smooth as possible. Our Patient Advocates will help you navigate the often confusing insurance polices or help set up payment plans with financing companies so that you can get the treatment choice you want and the very best care you deserve!

Do you take insurance?

YES – Georgian Dental® remains a ‘fee for service’ business. This means that you are responsible for payment of your treatment, before or at the time of service, and we electronically file your insurance claim on your behalf. Reimbursement is typically quick, within 72 hours and all done with electronic convenience. Dr. Tan feels this model is in the best interest for all of his patients as it does not promote a conflict of interest.

 

Patients who have chosen this model of care at Georgian Dental® have felt in their past,  insurance driven arrangements can potentially encounter a conflict of interest. This is because insurance driven treatment planning practices tend to ‘maximize’ insurance coverage and perform treatment covered by their insurance companies, sometimes to the extent for which the patient may not need. Certainly, this doesn’t happen with all dental clinics.
