NO HANDSHAKING! Nod, Use a fist bump, do a slight bow, elbow bump, etc.
Watch what you touch! Open doors with your closed fist or hip – do not grasp the handle with your hand, unless there is no other way to open the door. Especially important on bathroom and post office/commercial doors. Use ONLY your knuckle to touch light switches. elevator buttons, etc. Lift the gasoline dispenser with a disposable paper towel.
Don’t Touch your MEN (Mouth, Eyes, Nose) – wear sunglasses to help remind yourself not to touch your eyes. Look cool while doing so. If you must, wear a face mask to help remind yourself to keep your hands away from your face.
Disinfectant wipes! Bring disposable disinfectant wipes or grocery Use disinfectant wipes at the stores when they are available, including wiping the handle and child seat in grocery carts. When travelling, wipe down your seat, armrest, tables, seatbelt buckles.
Hand Sanitizer. Keep a bottle of sanitizer available at each of your home’s entrances. AND in your car for use after getting gas or touching other contaminated objects when you can’t immediately wash your hands.
Carry disposable facial tissue. Always cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue and discard. Use your elbow only if you have to. The clothing on your elbow will contain infectious virus that can be passed on for up to a week or more!
FREQUENT HANDWASHING. Wash your hands as soon as you get home. Be obsessive about washing your hands after handling items like paper currency.
Boost Your Immune System. Get lots of rest. Eat healthy and nutrient rich foods. Maintain your oral biome to increase your resistance to bacteria and virus particles.
Avoid Public Spaces. Infectious diseases spread faster with more human to human contact. Maintain social distancing when possible.
Filter the Air. Toxic load on your body from environmental toxins is an underappreciated reason for a burdened immune system. Keep your environment clean and get fresh air. When indoors or at home, use air purifiers with a HEPA filter and UVC sanitizing function. Only use Ozonators when the space is unoccupied.
